Rodger Bailey's profile

Qondio provides a method for developing backlinks to your site(s). The intel rating system insures that junk posts are not maintained on the site and it gives us members a chance to post intel about our ideas, opinions, and observations.

I have been an organizational structure consultant for over 30 years, specializing in brain function and behavior. In the last decade I have worked extensively with children with developmental problems.

Now, in our mid-60's, my wife and I have started attending a distance learning graduate school. We will be working on our doctorates doing research about the protocols we have developed for getting children with developmental problems back on track. So, I'll be posting intel about this kind of graduate school, promoting a site I have which is a Forum and Blog about going back to school late in life.

I'll also be posting other intel about things I see in the world around me.

Interesting intel on autism.

Hi Rodger - Thanks for the follow - I'm following you now, also. Your work sounds interesting and I'm looking forward to delving into it in more detail. I don't work with children anymore in my psychotherapy practice, but I sure do work with a lot of parents, both for parenting and relationship work. Keeps me on my toes!

Hi Rodger,

You sound like an interesting guy for sure and I have been back to school twice since leaving the first time but now I tend to teach myself as we do anyway so I look forward to digging into your intel.

Thanks for the follow, Ted.

Hello Rodger,
Many thanks for the follow, I hope I can keep it interesting enough for you to stay a follower. I'm quite new to this sort of thing but I'm interested in passing information to others and thought this might just be the place to do it.
Regards,
Adrian.

I just wanted to say that it is awesome how you are fully utilizing the interactive capabilities of this site to strengthen your network while simultaneously giving the Qondio community as a whole a boost of energy. I'd emulate you if only I were online often enough. You are an inspiration to us all. Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for following me! Your work is interesting.

It might have helped a lot back when I was a kid. I had some severe problems in school mostly caused by physical disabilities. One thing to keep in mind if you're designing ways to help kids that are having problems in school is that sometimes the problem can be very simple.

Actually observing what happened whenever I left one class to walk to the next one, timing it and looking at what I really did, would have revealed I wasn't dawdling. I never stopped to talk to other kids. I plunged on with a gait a lot like Boris Karloff in "The Mummy" at about a quarter the speed other kids could walk.

If I ran in the halls I could reach the other kids' walking speed and get a demerit for running in the halls. If I walked, I didn't get there in time and got a demerit for tardiness. I spent most of grade school with detention so routine that it was part of my regular school day -- because I couldn't get from one room to another in the time alloted for average children to do that.

No matter what I did, those demerits mounted up every single day based on undiagnosed mobility problems.

When kids can't do things, sometimes there's a basic physical reason. So I hope your protocols do screen for that -- sometimes the problem isn't social or psychological at all. Or even developmental in the sense of cognitive ability, I was a bright kid. I was just a bright kid who couldn't walk at a normal human rate.

Rodger,

Thanks for following. I look forward to learning more about what you are doing as well.

I have a blog you may want to take a look at from time to time. It is www.PassionateForProfits.com and is all about affiliate programs and home-based business.

I just got it up and running and have had very favorable comments.
I welcome your comments as well and please share if you are so inclined.

I hope you have a successful and productive day.

Warmly,
Diane
